The following graph in Figure 1 shows the light transmission of colorless Plexiglas® sheet formulations in the ultraviolet (UV) bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. Note that regular Plexiglas® G and MC sheet block some portions of the UV spectrum, but the special grades (UF-3, UF-4, UF-5) are needed when more UV energy needs to be absorbed.
