Note: For the same visible transmittance (VT), the white translucent Plexiglas® sheet has a lower shading coefficient (SC), so it allows less solar heat gain. For example, 2094 Gray has a VT of 55% with an SC of 0.71, while 0.118" W2447 has a VT of 53% and an SC of 0.47. This is because the gray absorbs transmitted sunlight, while the white mostly reflects it.
