Density of Plexiglas
1.19 grams/cubic centimeter or
0.0428 pounds/cubic inch or
0.68 ounces/cubic inch
To calculate the weight of a piece of Plexiglas:
Multiply the thickness x length x width x density.
Example: You have a 0.250" thick sheet of Plexiglas that is 12" wide and 12" long.
Thickness x length x width x density = weight.
0.250" x 12" x 12" x 0.0428 pounds / cubic inch = 1.5408 pounds
