Medical Market: Resistance to Lipids

Parts molded of Plexiglas^® medical acrylic resins resist blood, body fluids, and solvents.  Molded Plexiglas^® acrylic resins are not degraded by lipids, moisture, most inorganic aqueous solutions, saline solutions, mineral oil or limited exposure to concentrations of alcohol in water.  It is highly recommended that testing and evaluation be performed on actual parts for each application.
